Should I avoid any browser extensions / plugins?

Browser plugins are presumed to be OK; it is only when we are unable to reproduce a reported bug on a specific browser that we would start inquiring about what extensions are installed.

We do not open popups in FairSplit, only popovers. (Popups open a new browser window, popovers don't.) If you have a popup blocker installed, that is hardly going to affect us.
