What happens if two people want the same item in an estate distribution?

We often have many more than two interested in many of the same items. The FairSplit system provides a blind and impartial path to resolving that situation through Rounds. In the Emotional Value round heirs are given a fixed number of points they can spread across several items or put all on one. In the case of two people putting all of their points (the same number) on a single item, the software does the equivalent of a computerized coin toss.
